1: DIN 1.4028 steel introduction
1.4028 belongs to European standard martensitic stainless steel, which has good machinability and excellent corrosion resistance after heat treatment (quenching and tempering), polishing performance and high strength and wear resistance. Suitable for the manufacture of high load, high wear resistance and corrosion media in the role of plastic mold. The 1.4028 material with hardness below HRC30 after quenching and tempering has better processability and can easily achieve better surface quality. When the hardness is higher than HRC30, the surface quality of the machined parts is better, but the tool is easy to wear.

6: Delivery condition
For hot forged bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed/solid solution, rough turned/Black surface.
