1: GB NM500 steel introduction
The NM 500 is a flexible and welded wear plate for applications where wear resistance is more demanding. It is also a wear-resistant steel plate with an average hardness of 550 HBW, which is used in high wear situations. It is intended primarily for users and manufacturers using high manganese steel castings or 500 Brinell hardness wear resistant steel plates when upgrading from 500 steel plates to this product. The Brinell hardness is increased by 50 units and the wear life is prolonged without loss of the toughness of the steel plate.
